CKA White House Briefing and Congressional Reception
October 26-27, 2023

With KCG’s support, as part of the Council of Korean Americans’ (CKA) annual national summit and gala, we convened over 50 national CKA members, senior Biden-Harris Administration officials, and community leaders at the White House for a Briefing to discuss policy issues impacting the Korean American community. On Capitol Hill, we gathered over 150 Korean American leaders from various industries and six Members of Congress who shared the importance of lifting up the Korean American voice in policy making.

Sam Park for Georgia Birthday Meet & Greet 
September 29, 2023

Karis Consulting Group organized a series of meetings and a special New York City Meet & Greet with Georgia State Representative and Democratic Whip Sam Park, the first Asian American Democrat and first openly gay man elected to the Georgia State Legislature. This event brought together AAPI donors and community members to hear directly from Rep. Park on how he is leading the charge to build a new Democratic majority in the heart of the South.

White House Forum on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, & Pacific Islanders
May 3, 2023

Our client, the White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (WHIAANHPI), hosted a historic community-wide celebration of AANHPI Heritage Month at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. with Vice President Kamala Harris and over 1300 Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander leaders from government, business, philanthropy, nonprofit, arts, and more. KCG was proud to have coordinated the main plenary programming with artists, storytellers, entrepreneurs, senior White House and Biden Administration officials, journalists, and diverse community leaders. 

Campaign Debrief 2022: Red Wave / Blue Wave? The AAPI Midterm Vote
February 8, 2023

KCG helped to coordinate an AAPI-specific Campaign Debrief Event following the 2022 midterm elections with the Asian American Action Fund, ASPIRE PAC, Asian American Power Network, and the National AAPI Power Fund. Special guest speakers included Lieutenant Governor Aruna Miller, Rep. Grace Meng, Rep. Judy Chu, former GA Rep. Bee Nguyen, former congressional candidate Jay Chen, and more.

November 17-19, 2022

CKA, Senior Administration officials, and Biden-Harris appointees discussed policy issues impacting the Korean American community at their annual gala and summit in Washington, DC celebrating the impact of Korean American leaders.

Andy Kim for Congress New York Fashion Week Fundraiser

In support of Congressman Andy Kim’s re-election, we spearheaded and implemented a strategic national AAPI fundraising program, which included a New York Fashion Week-themed fundraiser with over 60 leaders in nonprofits, education, businesses, and fashion.

Kay Yu for Judge

KCG worked with Kay Yu for Judge’s team to organize over six fundraisers with individuals like Congressman Andy Kim, Philadelphia Concertmaster David Kim, State Senator Nikil Saval, and many more. Community leaders, elected officials, and friends of Kay for Judge gathered in Philadelphia and beyond to support Kay Yu’s historic judicial candidacy. Kay Yu is now the first Korean American woman elected to serve on the state court bench in the history of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

ASPIRE PAC Virtual Fireside Chat with Hakeem Jeffries

Our client ASPIRE PAC hosted a Virtual Fireside Chat between ASPIRE PAC Chair Grace Meng and Special Guest Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries, giving leaders and attendees from across the country an inside look at how our Members of Congress are working in coalition to advance issues that matter to our community. We’re grateful to our 18-member Host Committee and our guests who raised excellent questions about how we can best lift up our community’s voice in Congress.

WHIAANHPI Economic Summit

The White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (WHIAANHPI), federal agencies, and local leaders gathered in New York City for the fourth in a series of summits aimed at connecting AA and NHPI business and community leaders with critical federal and local resources to advance economic equity in this nation.

KCG joined the Council on Korean Americans at their annual gala and summit in Washington, DC celebrating the impact of Korean American leaders.

AAPI Voter Mobilization for Georgia’s Senate Runoff for ASPIRE PAC

In support of Georgia Senator Raphael Warnock’s re-election in December 2022, we supported the strategic implementation of ASPIRE PAC’s investments in the Georgia AAPI community, which included: in-language radio ads in Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean playing throughout Georgia; a paid canvassing operation targeting AAPI voters and Asian businesses in Dekalb, Fulton, and Gwinnett counties; in-language literature in 5 languages dropped at over 8,000 doors; and ethnic media outreach, including television, radio, and print. In addition, ASPIRE members traveled to Georgia for GOTV weekend, including ASPIRE PAC Chair Grace Meng and Reps. Judy Chu, Pramila Jayapal, Raja Krishnamoorthi, Marilyn Strickland, and Mark Takano. The members attended multiple AAPI canvassing events, AAPI small business roundtables, an AAPI rally, and events at AAPI houses of worship.

ASPIRE PAC San Francisco and New York Events

Our team helped organize multiple events in San Francisco and New York to share civic engagement opportunities and to raise awareness of what our Asian American Members of Congress are advocating for and how voters can be involved.
