Karis organized a robust Korean American and AAPI voter engagement program in Georgia to support Congressmember Marilyn Strickland to mobilize voters for Kamala Harris and Democrats down the ticket.

Along with Georgia State Representative Sam Park's leadership, Representative Strickland headlined Seouls to the Polls, an effort to encourage Korean American and AAPI voters to vote early and for Harris, Walz, and Democrats down the ticket. Rep. Strickland also attended press conferences with local AAPI leaders, visited local Korean churches, and canvassed alongside Korean American and AAPI volunteers. She also wore a Hanbok and celebrated “Hanbok Day” in the Georgia State Capitol thanks to Rep. Sam Park introducing the Hanbok Day resolution.​​​​​​​​​​​​

KCG hosted several Meet and Greets across the nation for Lanon Baccam, a Laotian American congressional candidate from Iowa. Lanon was able to share his remarkable background, connecting with supporters on a personal level.​

KCG worked with the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce to celebrate AANHPI Heritage Month at the Asian Heritage Month Night Market at Industry City. We were able to welcome diverse and incredible performances by K-pop artists Min, Slayrizz, Yut Chia and many other Asian American artists.​​​​​​​

Karis Consulting Group has been supporting the Honorable Judy Kim in her election to the New York State Supreme Court. If elected, she would be the first Korean American elected to the seat. This summer, we have helped coordinate four fundraiser receptions across New York and Philadelphia. Working with accomplished AAPI lawyers and leaders, we have raised nearly $50,000 in individual contributions towards her campaign.

Karis Consulting Group was one of the main organizers and a presenting host for Stand Together AAPI's inaugural Stand Together AAPI gathering: an event in metro Atlanta, Georgia celebrating the cultural and civic engagement of the Atlanta AAPI community. At this free, nonpartisan event, over 650 community members enjoyed performances, speakers,  a marketplace hosting local AAPI vendors, and booths where they could register to vote in advance of Georgia’s October 7th voter registration deadline and learn about opportunities to engage with local AAPI politics. ​​​​​​​​

In support of the ReNew Democracy Foundation’s inaugural fellowship program, KCG collaborated with industry leaders and Representatives Annie Kuster (NH-02), Marc Veasey (TX-33), Sharice Davids (KS-3), Salud Carbajal (CA- 24), and Marilyn Strickland (WA-10) to cultivate support and open doors for ReNew's fellows. Throughout the year, KCG has helped to organize events and fundraisers on behalf of ReNew to financially support and expand the program and share the amazing impacts the foundation has had in providing opportunities on Capitol Hill.
