Eileen is a graduate of Pomona College with a B.A. in Politics. She has a background in community organizing and political activism, focusing on get out the vote efforts and voting rights on the local, state, and national levels. Based in New Jersey, she has years of experience working on campaigns, a county elected official’s office, and the office of a U.S. Senator.
Kai Evans
Former Consultant
Kai is a seasoned political campaign finance consultant with experience in executing successful fundraising efforts for democratic campaigns. Based in Philadelphia, PA, Kai has a proven track record of raising significant funds for grassroots campaigns, ensuring campaign financial compliance, and organizing grassroots movements that produce winning campaigns on the local, state, and federal level.
Lauren Han
Former Intern
Lauren is a student at New York University where she is double majoring in History and Politics. She was born and raised in New York and is passionate about AAPI Advocacy. She worked as an intern at the Office of Assemblymember Grace Lee District 65, where her passion for politics grew. She also worked as an intern for Sandra Ung for City Council’s re-election campaign.
Eden Seran Min
Former Fellow
Eden was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. She received her B.A. with highest honors from New York University, where she majored in Sociology and minored in Politics, Creative Writing, American Sign Language, and Mathematics. She researched Economic Impact Payments, Expanded Child Tax Credit, foster care, and abortion at NYU’s Cash Transfer Lab.
David Hoang

David (he/him) is a student at the University of California, Riverside pursuing a degree in Business Administration. He is passionate about Asian American advocacy and hopes to further his understanding of the political advocacy process during his internship at Karis Consulting Group.
Aidan Ng
Former Intern
Aidan is at Georgetown University studying International Politics. He is passionate about social impact and public service, and hopes to work within the realm of policymaking upon graduating. He has previously interned at government offices at the United States Department of Agriculture and the Office of the Senate Majority Leader Chuck E. Schumer.
Darin Wong
Former Intern
Darin (he/him) is a 4th-generation Chinese American from Calexico, California. He recently graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with his Masters in Social Welfare. Through his internship with KCG, he hopes to learn more about the political advocacy process within public service and nonprofit sectors. When not procrastinating readings and homework assignments, he is interning at National CAPACD or volunteering with youth at Seen52. During his free time, he enjoys volunteering, reading, powerlifting, and messing around with Excel spreadsheets.
Sukhmani Kakar

Sukhmani is a student at UCLA pursuing a double major in Public Affairs and Mandarin Chinese. She has a background in nonprofit work, including social justice, health inequity, and food insecurity organizations. A D.C. native, she is interested in immigration law, international affairs, and criminal justice reform.
Michelle Tran-Duong

Michelle studied computer science at the University of Iowa. She previously interned in Washington, D.C. for KS-3 Sharice David's office. She enjoys learning and working on projects adjacent to AANHPI advocacy & social justice. During her free time, she enjoys reading webnovels, journaling, and working out.
Sarah Lin
Former Advisor
Sarah Lin grew up in New Jersey and most recently served as the Pennsylvania Democratic Party's statewide AAPI Coalitions Director for the 2022 election cycle. Sarah holds a bachelor's degree with highest honors from Rutgers University and a master's degree from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government, where she studied democracy and politics as a Gleitsman Fellow.
Aditya Kalahasti
Former Intern
Aditya is a student at the University of Michigan studying International Studies, with a planned minor in Asian Studies. He’s passionate about AAPI advocacy, and the impact of international affairs on domestic politics and communities, and wants to continue working in Asian American outreach and general human rights advocacy after graduation. He’s worked on the AAPIs for Biden campaign previously, and is currently working as a researcher on the Virulent Hate Project at the University of Michigan.
Jancarlos Grullon

Jancarlos attended Bronx Community College for two years then, transferred to John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He is majoring in political science and aspires to become a Policy Analyst in the future.
Kristi Viray

Kristi is currently a student at the College of William & Mary pursuing a degree in Global Studies with a concentration in Asian Pacific Islander American Studies. Upon graduating, she hopes to continue working within the same field of Asian American and Pacific Islander Advocacy.
