Karis Consulting Group organized two powerful community fundraisers in Dunwoody and Johns Creek, Georgia for Congresswoman Grace Meng. From mobilizing voters for Jon Ossoff, Raphael Warnock, and Stacey Abrams, to standing with Georgia after the Atlanta spa shootings, she consistently shows up for Georgia. These fundraisers were critical opportunities to come together in support of Congresswoman Meng and everything at stake—including Medicaid cuts threatening Atlanta hospitals, rising anti-AAPI hate, and the risk of losing a fierce advocate in Congress. Karis Consulting Group is proud to facilitate these important conversations, foster solidarity, and continue the fight ahead. Let’s keep showing up for her.

During the San Francisco trip, Karis Consulting Group was proud to organize and facilitate ASPIRE PAC’s Community Conversation led by ASPIRE PAC Chair Marilyn Strickland in San Francisco—bringing together 7 AANHPI Members of Congress and over 30 community leaders for an honest, thoughtful, and meaningful discussion.  Representatives Ted Lieu, Judy Chu, Marilyn Strickland, Mark Takano, Ami Bera, Jill Tokuda, and Dave Min, and ASPIRE PAC’s Nic Jordan and the DCCC’s Sarah Lin discussed honestly with local community leaders and highlighted the critical investments needed to support AANHPI voters and candidates in 2026. We are grateful for the collaboration with our local partners, including local leaders, Wendy Nguyen, Neighbors for a Better San Francisco, and the San Francisco Association of Realtors who made this event possible.​

Karis Consulting Group supported ASPIRE PAC’s donor cultivation and engagement efforts by inviting AANHPI community leaders on behalf of ASPIRE PAC and  ASPIRE Chair Rep. Marilyn Strickland to the 31st Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS) Annual Awards Gala on May 13th in Washington, DC. The APAICS Gala was a festive, national celebration of AANHPI Heritage Month and our Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander community in civics.

Karis Consulting Group organized a special Donor Appreciation Breakfast for the ReNew Democracy Foundation at The Home Depot Office in Washington, D.C.. Honorary Chair Rep. Sharice Davids (KS-03) and special guest Rep. Sean Casten (IL-06) shared inspiring words on the importance of diverse representation in policymaking. Through organizing events and fundraisers, Karis Consulting Group continues to support the ReNew Democracy Foundation’s mission of opening doors for diverse leaders in policymaking on Capitol Hill.​​​​​​​​​​​​

Karis Consulting Group organized ASPIRE PAC’s fourth annual San Francisco trip with local supporters, which included an evening welcome reception and intimate lunch. ASPIRE PAC Chair Marilyn Strickland led a delegation with Democratic Vice Chair Ted Lieu, CAPAC Chair Emerita Judy Chu, CAPAC First Vice Chair Mark Takano, CAPAC Whip Ami Bera, ASPIRE PAC Vice Chair Jill Tokuda, and Representative Dave Min. On June 4, Karis Consulting Group cebrated a major milestone with the ReNew Democracy Foundation: the graduation of their inaugural fellowship cohort! We were honored to be joined by Honorary Chair Rep. Sharice Davids, New Dem Chair Rep. Brad Schneider, and special guests Rep. Sean Casten and Rep. Morgan McGarvey, who have been steadfast supporters of ReNew Democracy's mission.

Karis Consulting Group helped organize ASPIRE PAC’s inaugural trip to Hawaii. The event opened with ASPIRE PAC’s inaugural Hawaii fundraiser reception, which was generously hosted by Rep. Jill Tokuda, local community leaders, and Special Guests ASPIRE Chair Marilyn Strickland, CAPAC Chair Grace Meng, Rep. Ed Case, and Hawaii Lieutenant Governor Sylvia Luke. Karis Consulting Group is proud to support ASPIRE PAC’s work to lift up AANHPI voices in Congress and advance issues that matter to our community.

On May 5, Karis Consulting Group hosted a coffee hour in support of the ReNew Democracy Foundation, featuring remarks from Honorary Chair Rep. Sharice Davids (KS-03) and guest Rep. Steven Horsford (NV-04).
We were proud to spotlight ReNew Democracy Fellows Luisa Lopez, Isaiah Simpkins, and Ezana Tamrat, who shared reflections on their Capitol Hill experiences. Through gatherings like this, Karis Consulting Group proudly supports the ReNew Democracy Foundation’s mission to open doors for diverse leadership in policymaking.
